Social media is a visual medium and consumers love to watch short, feel-good videos. To keep the momentum going from it’s Petal It Forward program in October, SAF produced a two-minute video that captures that day and the positive impact it had on the lives of thousands of consumers.
“This video helps to take our ‘flowers create happiness’ message viral, and will hopefully encourage those who see it to use flowers as a kind gesture or communication tool,” said Jennifer Sparks, SAF’s vice president of marketing.
Sparks says the video, which was funded by Asocolflores, gives the entire industry a visual tool to showcase the power of flowers and capture consumer attention. She encourages SAF members to use it on their own social media channels with these suggested posts:

We are #grateful to be part of an industry that creates #happiness: http://bit.ly/1RJjcvk Will you #petalitforward?
Why will posting this video make a difference for your shop? Because your customers and followers will see the true power of flowers, and turn to you for their next floral need.
SAF would like to thank Asocolflores for their continued generous support of industry promotion projects such as Petal It Forward.
